SUPPER CLUB: A CELEBRATION OF SPRING DELIGHTS

We’re putting together an extra-special Sunday menu for Easter. Of course there will be the sweetest spring lamb on the menu – in our case a beautiful roast rump and shoulder served with braised lettuce, buttered peas and mint sauce. However, if lamb isn’t your thing look out for gorgeous spring chicken, cornish cod or wild turbot.
And, because Easter wouldn’t be Easter without chocolate you can finish with Mark Kempson’s incomparable Valrhona chocolate pavé with salt caramel ice cream, peanut and lime.
A CELEBRATION OF SPRING DELIGHTS
DINNER, THURSDAY, APRIL 24TH
Spring is fleeting, and the fresh new produce we’re cooking with right now won’t last forever. So, for the Last Thursday Supper Club in April, Mark will be selecting ingredients from a medley of Spring’s greatest hits. Starting with a refreshing white gazpacho the menu includes dishes inspired by some fantastic produce from asparagus, to Jersey Royals to morels to wild garlic.
The stand-out dish of the whole event, however, has to be a glorious roast tranche of wild turbot, cooked with a beautiful citrus beurre blanc. This is classical French cookery featuring a truly British ingredient and it’s a real treat of a dish.
This one-off menu will be available for one night only at our hugely convivial supper club in our private dining room. There are just fourteen places available, so do book fast if you would like to join us.
